The hotel's traditional Cretan décor added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere, making it feel like a little Cretan home. The gardens were beautifully kept, offering tranquil spaces where I could relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the beach and a short walk or drive into the lovely town of Agios Nikolaos. The warm and friendly owners made me feel welcome throughout my stay, providing a sense of comfort and hospitality.
I could have used a few more kitchen amenities to prepare larger meals, but it wasn't a big issue for me. The lovely Kri Kri taverna nearby offered delicious meals, so it didn't hinder my vacation experience.

We had a nostalgic trip to Agios Nikolaos after 30 years, staying at Hotel Eliza for a day and night. The traditional Cretan maisonette was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. Eliza warmly welcomed us and provided coffee and cake. The pool was peaceful, and a short walk took us to the beach and marina. The peaceful location and attentive hospitality made for a memorable stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

We got great value for our money with a cozy Cretan maisonette that had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, with lots of restaurants, shops, and beautiful beaches within walking distance. Eliza and her parents were friendly and helpful, making us feel at home throughout our stay.
The hotel breakfast menu could use a little more variety.

The hotel is located near a small open-air theatre by the lake, where we enjoyed watching live performances and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. The town also offered innumerable opportunities for night-time entertainment at different bars and discos, where we danced the night away and had a blast with our friends.
The only thing we would have asked for is more options for young party-goers like us. While the town had a great selection of bars and discos, we would have loved to have more venues specifically catering to the younger crowd and offering even more night-time fun.
